FROM FIK TO BY FAIR TALE What started in Olaf and Vic's kitchen at home in 2020 grew into FIK: a candle brand with around 60 points of sale domestically and internationally. Fair Tale was there from the beginning. After five years, Olaf and Vic decided it was time for something different, and by Fair Tale took over the baton. PURE & PLANT-BASED The candles are made from plant-based rapeseed wax instead of paraffin. Rapeseed grows in Europe, allowing the raw material to be produced relatively close to home. The wax burns beautifully, calmly, and cleanly, and is also a fine carrier for the delightful fragrances. The candles come in three sizes with both cotton and wooden wicks. The cotton wick produces a calm flame, while the wooden wick creates a beautiful, full flame and adds a luxurious look. Handmade in Zutphen. It all happens above the Fair Tale shop in the heart of Zutphen. That is where the wax is melted, the fragrances are mixed, the wicks are inserted, and the candles are poured. Why? Because we love products where you know where and how they are made. Local, with good ingredients and attention to every single one. The trusted recipe and the delightful fragrances of FIK remain. And in the meantime, we continue to dream about new scents and products.
