75 years of history, 75 years of development.
As one of the last remaining terry weaving mills in Germany, we produce over 90% of our products ourselves.

Winding, twisting, warping, sizing, weaving, bleaching, dyeing, finishing, sewing. Here, long-established craftsmanship meets state-of-the-art industrial engineering.

In 1947, our family business was founded by Karl und Alfons Wölte under the name of Erste Emsdettener Frottierweberei C.&A. Wölte GmbH & Co. KG.

Production takes place in a fully integrated business with around 200employees and state-of-the-art facilities. Our Emsdetten site guarantees first-class product quality, maximum flexibility and excellent supply availability, all while complying with strict, national environmental and social standards. The experience and commitment of all our staff ensures tested safety – Made in Germany.
