Origineeltje

About us

Let Origineeltje capture your place forever

Every tile is a true little artwork. Made from paper.
With her golden scissors in hand, Origineeltje is the artist name of Neeltje, who captures the most beautiful places in the Netherlands.

With nothing more than paper, scissors and a vivid imagination, she builds colourful worlds. Layer by layer, cut and pasted from recycled paper. From iconic buildings to wildflowers, every design tells a story. And that story is turned into an art tile or an art print to preserve a place or a moment forever.

Origineeltje is a quirky studio full of colour, cuttings and character. Everything begins with Neeltje, the paper artist behind the brand. Together with a small team, we bring her handmade illustrations to life, from the cutting table to the ceramic kiln. Every tile and every print is lovingly designed and locally produced.

We cherish the local. Town gates, lighthouses, church towers, markets and mills. Flowers, bees, butterflies and birds. Everything that grows, blossoms or carries a good story.

Our mission
Crafting the world weird wild and wonderful

You will find our work on ceramic tiles and art prints in A5, A4 and A3. And if you look closely, you will always find a tiny ladybug hidden in the design. That is Leentje, our lucky charm. She travels with each tile and each print from our studio to your wall.

We are looking for the most inspiring shops in Europe to grow with
Because Origineeltje belongs in places that want to colour the world together with her.

Would you like a tile of your own town or city in your shop?
