About us

Stoov is thé Dutch brand making cordless warmth products based on infrared warmth technology. Founded in 2014 by Teun van Leijsen, now loved by more than 1.7 million people worldwide.

It started with a simple question: how do you keep someone warm, without heating an entire house? The reason was personal. Teun's wife Marly was pregnant and loved spending her evenings outside, but got cold quickly. Looking for a sustainable solution, Teun experimented with the seat heater from his car and adapted it into something Marly could use outdoors. That became the first Stoov.

What started as a prototype in the back garden grew into a complete range of warmtekussens, heated blankets, wearables and heated bottles. All cordless, rechargeable and designed to go wherever you go. Infrared warmth works directly on the body, much like sunlight, without heating the air around you. Targeted, fast and energy-efficient.

Every product is designed in-house by Stoov's dedicated design team, from the technology to the fabric. That ensures consistent quality and the freedom to keep improving. The third generation of Stoov warmth products, Stoov³, is the most advanced yet: with 66% longer battery life, USB-C fast charging and warmth up to 58°C.
