About us

Hi!

We are Toon and Esther.

Brother and sister.

Twins.

The design brand by ( VAN in dutch) Toon & Esther (or simply VANTOEST) is new to the market, but we already have several years of experience in the design and retail world.

From 2019 until the end of 2023, we ran a coffee bar and design shop together in Lokeren, featuring products from young Belgian and Dutch designers. Since then, we’ve changed direction and moved to the other side of retail.

I, Toon, am an interior designer (KASK) and furniture designer (VOMO).

Esther is the practical and creative all-rounder.

Together, we design, test, and produce all our products in our own workshop in Lokeren.

VANTOEST creates sustainable and unique home accessories made from acrylic resin and textiles.

We design heat cushions with playful fabrics, filled with flaxseed and cherry pits.

As a label, we believe it is important that design remains accessible to everyone, without compromising on quality and sustainability.
