Launched: 100% Natural Moisturizing Cream for Biowust

From concept to market-ready product within 20 months: hydrating cream commissioned for Biowust.

Commissioned by Biowust, we developed a hydrating cream and brought it fully to market. The entire process, from initial concept to marketable product, took 20 months.

The start: Formulation session.
The process began with a joint formulation session in which we selected ingredients, evaluated textures and fragrances, and reviewed packaging with the owners of Biowust. During this session, we produced a first prototype. This was followed by six iterations, during which we further refined consistency and skin feel until we were both enthusiastic about the final version: this is it!

Testing phase and approval.
Time to move on to the next phase, because we want to sell this cream! This phase took the longest: During the stability test, the product was tested for three months under various conditions to rule out separation, pH drift, discoloration, and fragrance changes over time. Following this, we conducted a preservative test (a Challenge test) to establish that we could guarantee the correct preservation to ensure microbiological safety throughout the shelf life of this cream.

Finally, it is time for cosmetic approvals: this is how we ensure the product complies with all relevant cosmetic regulations, including ingredient declaration and safety assessment.

The result: After 20 months, all phases have been completed and the cream is officially live in the Biowust webshop. Naturally, we also brought a cream to Trendz/ShowUp; come and feel it for yourself!
