Our Story: A Family Business Since 1994

From a meeting at a candle factory in Breda to a European wholesale business in glass and ceramics: discover the story behind Peri Living.

Peri Living began in the 1970s, when Cees and Hettie Verwijmeren met at a candle factory in Breda. Their shared passion for craftsmanship led to the founding of PeriGlass in 1994, based in Oosterhout, the Netherlands.
What started as a small family business has grown into a European wholesaler in handmade glass and ceramic home decoration, trusted by more than 600 shops across Europe. Today the company is led by the second generation, sisters Sandra and Malu, who continue to build on their parents' vision.
Every piece is handcrafted and designed in-house, from our original oil lamps with their fiberglass wick to our ceramic vases. Three values guide everything we make: meaningful, transparent, and stylish. Behind every product lies a deeper purpose, an openness in glass and in character, and a balance of traditional craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.
We believe in helping create cherished moments with loved ones, moments that last for generations. That belief has shaped Peri Living for over thirty years, and it continues to shape everything we do today.
