727Sailbags
Sea-inspired collections, made from 100% recycled sails. Sailing • Collecting • Designing • Upcycling Our Story The brand's story began in 2005 with the creation of a bag from the sails of a family boat, a Farr 727. Thanks to entrepreneurs with a passion for the sea and ocean racing, the brand grew rapidly. At the end of 2017, Nicolas Veto and Matthieu Bimbenet took the helm of 727 Sailbags, now the European market leader in design products made from recycled sails and a key player in the circular economy. The brand continues its adventure by giving materials that have sailed the seas a new life as sought-after fashion and interior products. The company is based in Lorient, Brittany, in the heart of the 'Sailing Valley', and employs 45 people.
