It is made from a single piece of sturdy steel that, together with the base and one side wall, encloses the house. The house itself is made of sustainable bamboo. Designer Ilse chose Petrol Blue for the metal color. This neutral color contains shades of blue, green, and even gray. What immediately catches the eye about the Happy Bird House birdhouse is the asymmetrical placement of the entrance hole. A wooden perch is placed at the opening, where the birds can rest and fly in. The 3.2 cm entrance hole is suitable for small birds such as blue tits, great tits, and nuthatches. These birds don't just use the house to build a nest. They also like to shelter there in winter.
