Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch painter. His work falls under Post-Impressionism, an art movement that succeeded nineteenth-century Impressionism. Van Gogh painted one of his favorite subjects: large blossoming branches against a blue sky. Because the almond tree blossoms early in spring, it symbolizes new life. Van Gogh drew inspiration from Japanese printmaking for the subject, the sharp outlines, and the placement of the tree within the picture plane.

Alpaca wool is one of the best natural wools. The fibers of Alpaca wool are incredibly soft and super fine (approx. 22-28 microns), it can be compared to cashmere wool. Due to the superfine fibers, the alpaca plaids itch much less on bare skin than wool from other animal species. The wool is also thermally warm. This means that it has a cooling effect in summer and feels pleasantly warm in winter. In addition, Alpaca wool is stronger than regular wool, it wears less quickly and fluffs less. We have the plaids in 2 different sizes / compositions.
